Collection of data

The organisers of the Shipping and the Environment II conference use the website www.cshipp.eu to collect personal data that the participants fill into the registration form. The data includes personal information such as participant’s name, contact information, payment information and other relevant data needed to organise the conference. By completing the registration process you warrant that you are the person making the registration or have the express authority from that person to make the registration on their behalf.

Processing of data

Processing of the participants’ data is handled by the conference organisers. Processing of participants’ data is necessary for efficient organisation and management of the conference.Processing the data includes activities such maintaining participant lists, creating name badges, organising catering, conducting follow-up actions, creating news and publications, and sending participants information about relevant events in the future (you may opt-out from receiving information about other events by notifying the organisers S-and-E-2019@ivl.se). The data collected from the participants is not shared with external parties except when disclosure of relevant data is necessary (e.g. catering). Please note that the list of participants with data such as names, organisations and titles of the participants, can be published and distributed to other conference participants. Should you wish that your details are not displayed in participant lists, you have the possibility to opt-out from any such dissemination of data by notifying the organisers.

Audio-visual recordings

Participants are asked to note that photos may be taken and video footage recorded during the conference. Photos and video recordings are needed for creating awareness and distributing information about the conference. Such material may be reproduced in different media by the organisers in connection with the conference. If you wish that your image or voice is not recorded and published, please contact the conference organisers who will accommodate your needs, if possible.
